Winter Symposium 2025

June 13 - June 15

The Winter Symposium is being held from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June. It is being held at the Commodore Airport Hotel Christchurch. Registration will open next week, with the provisional programme available soon. The topic for the Symposium is The Shoulder Region / Research for the Beginner.

To help with your planning, the Symposium will open at 8.30am on Friday 13th and run from 8.30am to 5.00pm on Friday and Saturday.

RETREAT REGISTRATION RATES

  • Full Member Registration: $450.00+GST per person (includes two event days)
  • Day Only Member Registration: $250.00+GST per person
  • Full Non Member Registration: $550.00+GST (includes two event days)
  • Day Only Non Member Registration: $300.00+GST per person

SOCIAL TICKETS

  • Tickets for the dinner on Friday evening are not include in the cost of registration. Tickets for yourself and partners may be purchased for $85.00+GST per person.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing to events@nzcmm.org.nz. Cancellations made by 1 June 2025 will be refunded, less $75.00 to cover administration costs. After this date, no refunds will be made. All refunds will be processed after the meeting. If, for reasons beyond the control of the NZCMM, the event is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

Workshops will be held on Sunday:

  1. Manual Therapy DNS and Rehabilitation with Dr Steve Bentley from 8.30am to 5.00pm. This is suitable for anyone who has done Diploma papers 701 and 709.
  2. Interventional Spine Procedures: Introduction (and update) to lumbar spine injections (mbbs, TFI, ZA jt and SI jt injections) from 8.30am to 1.00pm. Appropriate for Spine Interventional procedure Trainees and revision for existing interventionalists.

CALL FOR CASES – Shoulder Sorcery: How I Conquered Persistent Pain with My Musc Med Magic

Case Presentations: 15 minutes total (10 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion).

Topic: The persistent shoulder pain that needed my (Musc Med Dr) magic.

Please submit your abstract no later than end of day on Friday 23 May:
