About
Dr Amanjeet Toor is one of the youngest instructors at the Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS), where he teaches spinal interventional procedures to doctors from around the world.
He graduated from the University of Auckland and began his early medical career as a Surgical Orthopaedic Registrar. Driven by a passion for musculoskeletal health and procedural medicine, he went on to complete fellowship training in General Practice and Urgent Care, earning distinction in his exam.
Furthering his academic and clinical expertise, Dr Toor completed two postgraduate diplomas in Sport Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine through the University of Otago—again with distinction. He later specialised in Musculoskeletal Medicine, becoming one of the few doctors in New Zealand to achieve three fellowship qualifications, a testament to his academic excellence.
Dr Toor has also undertaken advanced subspecialty training in Spine Interventional Pain Medicine, positioning him at the forefront of minimally invasive spinal and musculoskeletal pain procedures. His expertise bridges precision diagnostics with image-guided interventions, offering patients cutting-edge, evidence-based care and a multidisciplinary approach.
